Therapist Matcher — test page

Version 1 matches the current quiz. These are the suggested improvements for after it is live. Tell us which to keep, change or drop.

Suggested improvements

  1. Add a crisis line (988) to the start and results screens. Danielle to confirm the wording.
  2. Ask which insurer, not just "Insurance": Aetna, Cigna, BCBS / Florida Blue, United / Optum / Oscar, Medicaid or reduced cost, private pay, EAP.
  3. Explain Rooted to Bloom on the results, with a link to the programme page.
  4. Say why each therapist matched, for example "Takes Aetna · Evenings · Virtual".
  5. Stop the quiz opening by itself on every page. Open it on chosen pages, or once per visit.
  6. Show progress: "Question 3 of 7".
  7. Keep the earlier answer selected when going Back.
  8. Shorten the typing pause between questions.
  9. Let families pick more than one preference in the "what are you looking for" question.
  10. Add "Start over" and "See all therapists" to the results.
  11. When nothing matches, link Rooted to Bloom and referrals as well as Contact Us.
  12. Accessibility: keyboard and screen-reader support, Esc to close, reduced motion.
  13. Replace the chat-bubble icon with a "Find your therapist" button.
  14. Use the site's fonts in the quiz window.
  15. Open full screen on phones.
  16. Make the first-name step optional.
